Fee Schedule

Listing, signing NDAs, messaging and making offers are free. Shipdeed earns one fee: a success fee paid by the seller when a deal completes. Buyers pay the agreed price and nothing on top.

The rate is chosen by the full sale price and applied to the whole amount; it is not stepped like a tax bracket. The fee is deducted from the amount released to the seller.

When no fee is charged
- Deals cancelled before payment.
- Deals refunded to the buyer after a dispute or a missed seller deadline.
- Listings that never sell.
Payment methods
Buyers pay in US dollars. Card payments are accepted for deals up to $10,000 and require 3-D Secure authentication. Above $10,000, payment is by bank debit or bank transfer. Payment processing costs are borne by Shipdeed, not added to the price.
Payouts
Sellers are paid in US dollars to the payout account they set up with our payment processor, after the buyer accepts the transfer or the inspection period ends, and once the buyer's funds have cleared. Bank-debit payments can take several business days to clear. Payout availability depends on the seller's country; a seller who cannot open a payout account cannot accept offers.
Proof of funds
Offers of $50,000 or more require proof of funds reviewed by our team before they can be sent. Email a recent bank or brokerage statement, or a letter from your bank, showing available funds at least equal to your intended offer, to review@shipdeed.com from your account email. Approval is valid for 30 days and up to the approved amount. Documents are used only for this check and deleted after review; we keep the approved amount and expiry date.
Taxes
Fees are exclusive of any VAT, GST or sales tax that may apply in the seller's jurisdiction. Each party is responsible for its own taxes on the sale.
Changes
We may change fees with 30 days' notice. The fee for a deal is fixed when the offer is accepted.
